PERONI

At Found Studio, I was tasked with creating a shot which involved an impossibly stacked tower of bistro chairs, teetering in a ballroom to demonstrate the complex, finely balanced flavours of Peroni lager.

I modelled the chairs from scratch in Cinema 4D, based on real samples from the art department. On the shoot day, a small portion of the tower would be made for real, so my digital chairs had to be identical matches to their on set counterparts.

To match the chairs vintage, worn in appearance, I painted the textures in Substance Painter, which enabled layering multiple types of dirt, scratches and stains on the wood. The scene was rendered with Octane Render and comped in After Effects.
